Dr. N. Safrine is an independent researcher in the Department of English. She has completed her PhD in English from Stella Maris College, Chennai. She specializes in writing and publishing academic and non-academic content. Her areas of interest include psychology, journalism, autobiography, Bhakthi literature, Indian literature, feminism, women’s writings, autoethnography, Business English and life-writing. She also works as a freelance soft skills trainer rendering training to city college students. Associated with English language laboratories, she also renders corporate training for IT companies focusing on English language training. Content writing and content development is another area of her specialization. Her core areas of interest lies in academic writing, creative writing and spiritual writing.She has published several research articles in reputed journals like Indian literature of Sahitya Academy, Shodh Sanchar and Kanpur Philosophers. She is also an editorial board member of several literary journals such as literary voice and world journal of English literature. She also presented several of her research papers in national and international seminars and conferences.
