Dr. Sathishkumar Sankar completed a Ph.D. under the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Agartala (MoE – Govt of India). He earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering (B.E.) and his master’s degree in engineering design (M.E.) from Anna University in Tamil Nadu, India, and he also obtained his MBA from the University of Madras operation management division. He previously held the position of assistant professor at Chennai’s Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology. He presented more than 10 papers at national and international conferences and published more than 20 research articles in various reputable national and international publications. Additionally, he serves as one of the editors for Taylor and Francis Publisher (2022-2024) and Iterative International Publishers’ Futuristic Trends in Mechanical Engineering book series (2021-2024). In 2018 he received a research excellence award from the Institute of Scholars (InSc) and obtained lifetime membership in the Indian Society for Technical Education (MISTE), ISRD, and IAENG. He also contributed as a reviewer and editorial member in various reputed high-impact-factor international journals.
